Drug allergy
Abstract
Recently, allergic diseases have increasingly attracted the attention of doctors. There are cases of high sensitivity of some completely healthy people to the so-called low molecular weight compounds in general and to drugs in particular. There are reports of deaths due to the development of anaphylactic shock in a number of persons sensitized to antibiotics, sulfonamides, antipyretics, as well as to iodine, novocaine, etc.
Allergic skin tests for bronchial asthma in children
Abstract
We observed 546 children aged 1 to 14 years, including 426 patients with bronchial asthma (of which 372 with infectious-allergic form and 54 with allergic) and 120 healthy. Hereditary burden was found in 224 (52.1%) patients. Bronchial asthma, eczema and other allergic diseases were noted in parents and close relatives 69; 72 and 83 children, respectively. 242 children (56.7%) in the first years of life suffered from exudative-catarrhal diathesis.
Experience in the use of immunosuppressive drugs in the treatment of bronchial asthma
Abstract
At present, a severe course of bronchial asthma is increasingly common, often complicated by hypertension or hypoxemic coma with a fatal outcome. Therapy with steroid hormones is not always effective and very often fraught with serious complications. In the last 10 years, immunosuppressants have been successfully used to treat collagenoses and some other diseases with the phenomenon of autosensitization.
On the issue of the formation of combined forms of allergic diseases in children
Abstract
Under our supervision, there were 200 children with manifestations of combined forms of allergy (77 girls and 123 boys at the age: up to a year — 104, 2-3 years - 47, 4-6 years - 30, 7-11 years-16, 12-14 years - 3). When studying anamnestic data in 38.7% of children, a hereditary burden was established in the form of manifestations of bronchial asthma, eczema, angio-neurotic edema and urticarial rashes, various allergic reactions to the use of medicines and certain types of food.
Immunological reactivity in children with burn disease
Abstract
The aim of the work was to study the state of general immunological reactivity (GIR) in children with burns, the relationship between the FIR level and the course and outcomes of burn disease, as well as allergy to hemolytic staphylococcus in children with burns and pyoinflammatory diseases.
Pathogenetic role of food allergy in the development of eczema and neurodermatitis in children
Pathogenesis and prevention of occupational eczema
Abstract
In the pathogenesis of occupational eczema, the penetration of chemicals through the skin is essential. Factors that change the barrier properties of the skin include increased skin moisture, its maceration; degreasing the skin under the influence of solvents (ether, benzene, etc.); skin irritation under the influence of various agents used for laundering.
Allergic complications of myocardial infarction and their prevention
Abstract
Recently, the attention of many researchers has been attracted by the postinfarction syndrome, first noted by Dressler in 1955. In the domestic literature, this syndrome is described by A.M.Damir, S. X. Sidorovich (I960), A.P. Matusova (1961), and others.
Clinical significance of the dynamics of the content of histamine in the blood in myocardial infarction
Abstract
For several years, we have been studying the role of increasing the concentration of histamine in the blood in various forms of coronary insufficiency, taking into account a certain relationship between its level and the content of catecholamines and taking into account the effect of histamine on blood clotting, vascular wall permeability, vascular tone and blood pressure [1 –3].
Indicators of microcirculation and blood coagulation system in patients with atherosclerosis and hypertension
Abstract
A high percentage of patients with coronary heart disease arouses interest in elucidating the pathogenesis of this condition. The aim of the work was to analyze the indicators of microcirculation and the hemocoagulation system as some links in the pathogenesis of the dynamics of atherosclerosis and hypertension.
Hemodynamic changes in atherosclerotic cardiosclerosis with circulatory failure
Abstract
The task of the work was to identify objective criteria for assessing the stage of circulatory failure in patients with coronary cardiosclerosis (without hypertension) and to study hemodynamic changes under the influence of treatment with cardiac glycosides. We examined 104 patients aged 40–75 years, 43 of them in dynamics before and after treatment. Have 61 people. was stage I of circulatory failure (1st group of patients), in 19 - II A stage. (2nd group) and in 24 - II B-III st. (3rd gr.). The data obtained from 46 healthy persons aged 17–45 years served as a control.
Labor prognosis of patients with postinfarction heart aneurysms
Abstract
Heart aneurysm is one of the most severe complications of transmural myocardial infarction. It is found in 20-50% of patients with myocardial infarction [1-4]. The prognosis and working capacity of patients with this pathology have not yet been sufficiently developed. Until recently, it was believed that the prognosis of patients with myocardial infarction complicated by aneurysm was absolutely hopeless.
To the assessment of electrocardiographic and electrocymographic symptoms in the postinfarction period
Abstract
We have studied electrokimograms (ECI) in comparison with ECG in 74 patients aged 36 to 74 years (men - 56, women - 18), who had a large-focal myocardial infarction (51 — anterior, 23 — posterior). In 37 patients, ECG data indicated extensive anterior transmural infarction with a QS-type ventricular complex in the chest leads and an elevated RS-T segment in some cases. Have 23 people. there was a posterior myocardial infarction without signs of transmural lesion on the ECG.
The role of violations of histo-hematological barriers in cerebral atherosclerosis
Abstract
When studying the vessels and brain tissue of 31 deceased (22 - from atherosclerosis and 9 - from hypertension) using a complex of modern general histological, histochemical and neuromorphological research methods, we came to the conclusion that violations of the histo-hematological barriers (HGB) of the vessel walls play a significant role in the morphogenesis of atherosclerosis of the cerebral arteries, and at the level of the microcirculatory bed of the brain - and in ensuring the metabolic relationship of the vascular bed and brain tissue.
Dynamics of the formation of pulmonary heart and pulmonary heart failure in chronic pneumonia
Abstract
Based on the study of 104 case histories and autopsy protocols for those who died from chronic pneumonia with decompensated cor pulmonale, we set ourselves the task of analyzing the pathogenetic basis of the formation of cor pulmonale, comparing the main variants of the clinical course of chronic pneumonia with the timing of the onset of cor pulmonale and its decompensation in accordance with the classification of chronic pneumonia ( Tbilisi, 1972).
Experience in the use of sulfamonomethoxin in nonspecific inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system
Abstract
The search for agents adequate to antibiotics in terms of antibacterial effect, but causing relatively less allergic reactions, led us to the use of depot sulfonamides, primarily for chronic pulmonary diseases. Our attention was attracted by sulfamonomethoxin (synonyms - danmeton, drug 04-3476), synthesized at the V.I. S. Ordzhonikidze V. A. Zasosov, N. A. Kapina and K. A. Bushueva. We found in the periodicals sporadic indications of the effectiveness of sulfamonomethoxin in pneumonia, based on a small number of observations.

During this time, the puncture was performed in 412 patients (age from 5 to 82 years) who were treated in the intensive care unit. For the purpose of long-term infusion of medicinal substances, catheterization of the subclavian vein was performed in 252 patients with gastric bleeding, sepsis, anaerobic infection, tetanus, as well as after severe interventions, in particular, after restorative operations on the great vessels for the administration of heparin.
Photocoagulation of the ocular membranes and reactive syndrome
Abstract
The aim of this work was to study the reactive syndrome (a symptom complex that develops in the eye during painful irritation of the first branch of the trigeminal nerve and manifests itself in an increase in intraocular pressure, constriction of the pupil, dilation of the vessels of the anterior part of the eye, an increase in their permeability, a change in the chemical composition of moisture in the anterior chamber, a short-term increase in the velocity formation of aqueous humor) in the clinic and experiment with the use of photocoagulation. Changes in the pupil were investigated with a pupilometer and fluctuations in intraocular pressure with a Maklakov tonometer.
Atherosclerosis: clinic, treatment, prevention
Abstract
We believe that two factors play a leading role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis: 1) lipoid infiltration, 2) deposition of fibrin and plates on the walls of blood vessels. The great importance of lipid metabolism disorders, hypercholesterolemia in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis does not raise any doubts. However, the simplified interpretation of the lipid-infiltration theory and the idea that only one cholesterolemia has an exclusive role in the development of atherosclerosis conflicts with many clinical and experimental data.
Intradermal allergic test in patients with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer disease
Abstract
The studies were carried out in 275 people. The antigen was prepared from the gastric mucosa of a practically healthy person who died as a result of trauma. The separated mucosa was washed, homogenized in a mixture with saline in a ratio of 1: 10, frozen and thawed three times, after which it was centrifuged and the supernatant was sterilized by passing through Seitz filters. The bacteriological control of the antigen was carried out at the Kazan Scientific Research Institute of Electrometry. The antigen was standardized by protein.

Characteristic of atrial fibrillation and electrical impulse rhythm reversion
Abstract
Studies by E.A. Ozol (1956), carried out with the help of special leads, showed that the high-voltage form of atrial fibrillation with ff not lower than 0.2 mv is mainly inherent in rheumatic heart disease with mitral stenosis. A low-voltage form of blinking and the absence of noticeable waves on the ECG are noted, as a rule, in cardiosclerosis, mainly of atherosclerotic origin.
