In our clinic for 12 years (1955-1967) 221 patients were hospitalized with epithelial neoplasms of the bladder. 164 patients underwent surgery, 42 refused surgery and 15 were declared inoperable. Outcomes of surgical intervention were followed in 152 patients.

Since July 1962, in the hospital surgical clinic and polyclinic of the 2nd clinical hospital, we examined 165 patients with chronic prostatitis aged 18 to 72 years, and for comparison - 30 people who did not suffer from prostatitis. There were 113 able-bodied and sexually active men (21–45 years old) (68.48%). During the period of extinction of the activity of the gonads (at the age of 51-65 years), an increase in the incidence of chronic prostatitis was again noted.

During the period from 1953 to 1964, there were 129 patients with hemorrhagic vasculitis in the department. An increase in cases has been noted since 1959. 92 patients (71.3%) were admitted from rural areas, 27 (28.7%) from Kazan and other republics. There were 61 boys (47.3%), and 68 girls (52.7%).
