Treatment of patients with intra-articular knee fractures
Abstract
Long-term outcomes (up to 25 years) of treatment of 189 patients with intra-articular knee fractures were studied. The best results were obtained with compression osteosynthesis with pins with thrust pads, as well as with the inclusion of a magnetic field with a strength of 350-500 oersted in the treatment complex.

Thrombohemorrhagic syndrome in acute traumatic brain injury
Abstract
The state of the blood coagulation system was investigated in 40 patients in the acute period of traumatic brain injury. All these patients were found to have changes in the hemocoagulation system, the severity of which was in direct proportion to the severity of the injury. The victims with extensive foci of destruction of the medulla developed thrombohemorrhagic syndrome.

Application of contact thermography in borderline surgical areas
Abstract
The experience of using contact thermography has shown its great capabilities in recognizing injuries and lesions of the musculoskeletal system. The method is simple, accurate, allows you to quickly diagnose various fractures, thrombophlebitis, deep vein thrombosis, to determine the extent of their prevalence and the beginning of recovery.

Forensic criteria for assessing injuries of the first and second cervical vertebrae
Abstract
The biomechanics of the two upper cervical vertebrae in normal conditions and under conditions of exposure to vertically and horizontally directed traumatic forces was studied by the modeling method. It was found that the position of the Atlantean relative to the axis has a decisive influence on the biomechanics of the forces in this area. The nature of damage to the atlanto-axial joint is biomechanically substantiated, and the criteria for a forensic medical examination are given.

Treatment of humeral-scapular periarthritis, epicondylitis, styloiditis with laser light
Abstract
The therapeutic effect of helium-neon laser light was studied in 100 patients with humeral-scapular periarthritis, epicondylitis of the humerus, and styloiditis of the radius. It was found that the use of low-intensity laser light in the treatment of degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the musculoskeletal system gives favorable results.

Physiotherapy treatment of patients with humeral-scapular periarthritis
Abstract
The results of physiotherapeutic treatment of patients with shoulder-scapular periarthritis were analyzed. In the acute stage of the disease, the best effect is provided by the use of diadynamic currents in combination with novocaine electrophoresis or mud applications, and in the case of protracted forms of the disease with severe pain syndrome and a sharp limitation of the range of motion, ultrasound therapy is most appropriate.

To the mechanism of hyperaldosteronism in uncompensated diabetes mellitus
Abstract
A study of the excretion of aldosterone with urine and the content of potassium, sodium in plasma, erythrocytes and daily urine in 56 patients with diabetes mellitus of varying severity and varying degrees of decompensation was carried out. An increase in the excretion of aldosterone in patients with uncompensated diabetes, changes in the metabolism of sodium and potassium were found. The value of aldosteronuria is influenced not by the severity of diabetes, but by the degree of decompensation of the disease. The conclusion is made about the secondary nature of the revealed hyperaldosteronism.

Corrected orthogonal ECG leads in the study of children with mitral valve insufficiency
Abstract
In 106 children with mitral valve insufficiency of rheumatic origin, ECGs were studied in corrected Frank orthogonal leads and in 12 conventional leads. Comparative analysis of the results indicates a high sensitivity of the Frankish system of corrected orthogonal leads in children with mitral valve insufficiency.

Observations of 92 patients with acute pelveoperitonitis subjected to laparotomy and laparoscopy are summarized. If it is impossible to exclude acute appendicitis, pyosalping rupture, ectopic pregnancy, as well as in case of failure of conservative detoxification, antibacterial, desensitizing, resorption, restorative therapy of acute pelveoperitonitis, used for 12-20 hours, laparoscopy is recommended.

Treatment of patients with genital endometriosis with synthetic sex hormones
Abstract
Histological examination of the endocervix in 80 patients with genital endometriosis, who took synthetic progestins and gestagens for therapeutic purposes, showed that pathological processes in the endocervix are not eliminated in parallel with the disappearance of pathological processes in the endometrium, but continue to recur. The occurrence of reserve cell hyperplasia with the transition to squamous metaplasia increases significantly as the duration of hormone therapy increases. This circumstance requires oncological vigilance.

On the importance of drug therapy in the prevention of obstetric complications in obese pregnant women

Modification of sinusotrabeculectomy for various forms of glaucoma
Abstract
The modification of sinusotrabeculectomy according to A.P. Nesterov is described. In open-angle glaucoma, the modification consisted in the fact that the strip of deep layers of the filtering zone was not resected, but restrained under the superficial scleral flap. When the coal is closed, this strip was tucked into the corner of the anterior chamber after pressing the root of the iris. 51 patients were operated on with this modification. There were no complications during the operations. Ophthalmotonus normalized by the time of discharge in all those operated without myotics.

Treatment of patients with open-angle glaucoma with prolonged form of armin
Abstract
The results of clinical studies have shown that the prolonged form of armin, used as a medication for open-angle glaucoma, has a more pronounced hypotensive effect than an aqueous solution of armin. Prolonged armin solution with prolonged use does not cause any side reactions and is well tolerated by patients.

Proof of the oligomeric nature of fibrinogen b
Abstract
A study using chromatographic and immunochemical methods showed that fibrinogen B precipitated by ß-naphthol from the blood plasma of sick people has an oligomeric nature. These data, taking into account the chemical composition of fibrinogen B, suggest that fibrinogen B is a variant of soluble fibrin-monomer complexes. This determines the clinical significance of the ß-naphthol test as an express method for the diagnosis of thrombinemia.

Some questions of the pathogenesis and treatment of perforated gastroduodenal ulcers
Abstract
A method for predicting long-term outcomes of surgical interventions for perforated gastroduodenal ulcers is proposed. A table was compiled of the weight values of preoperative and intraoperative signs that affect the outcome of the operation. The resulting summary allows you to choose a rational type of intervention for each patient. Histochemical studies of 64 micropreparations of perforated ulcer revealed indirect signs of autoimmune conflict in this pathology.

Closed abdominal injuries
Abstract
The results of clinical observations of 206 patients with closed abdominal injuries are summarized. The mortality rate was 21.4%. The severity of the condition of victims with a closed abdominal trauma and the outcomes are determined by the nature of the injuries, the presence or absence of shock and blood loss, the time elapsed since the injury, the volume and effectiveness of preoperative preparation and anti-shock therapy, and the age of the victims.

Complex therapy of peritonitis in gynecological patients
Abstract
Analysis of case histories of 121 patients operated on for gynecological peritonitis showed that early hospitalization, rational use of preoperative time to create an antibacterial barrier, partial reduction of intoxication and correction of hemodynamics for performing surgery and anesthesia, as well as massive antibacterial and infusion therapy during surgery and in the postoperative period with the correction of metabolic and hemodynamic disorders, an increase in the body's immune forces, the fight against hypodynamia and the paretic state of the intestine, provide real conditions for achieving favorable results in the treatment of peritonitis.

Skin grafting method
Abstract
We have developed a method of skin grafting, which allows covering large skin defects with full-thickness dermal thin transverse plates. The operation begins with determining the area of the wound surface and calculating the size of the desired skin graft. If we take a skin graft with dimensions of 200X10 mm, then with its usual longitudinal placement, it is possible to cover the wound surface, the maximum area of which is equal to the area of the graft, i.e. 2000 mm2.
