Uremic conditions are common in both internal medicine and surgery. Their origin and mechanism of development turn out to be very diverse and, of course, go beyond the so-called "azotemic uremia".

A number of works by domestic and foreign authors (L. S. Erukhimov, N. V. Dunashev, A. A. Midoyan, V. M. Bliznyuk, A. A. Avdeev, Ekman, E. . Sponge, etc.).

Among diseases of the digestive system, chronic colitis of various etiologies is the most common.

We observed 50 patients aged 30 to 60 years. Colitis after dysentery - 26, after toxicoinfections - 5, colitis of mixed etiology - 14, alimentary etiology - 2 and unclear - 3 people. 28 had relapses, and 22 had a monotonous course. From concomitant diseases, anacid, normocidal and hyperacid gastritis prevailed. Angiocholecystitis and mesenchymal hepatitis were diagnosed in 29 patients.

Pancreatic cysts are rare. In the domestic literature from 1885 to 1958, only 295 such observations were published. The disease can occur at any age, but more often from 20 to 40 years, and somewhat more often in women.

A new sulfonamide drug with an effective diuretic property - hypothiazide (hydrochlorothiazide, hydrodiuryl, dichlotride), (6 chloro-7-sulfanyl-1, 2, 4-benzodihydrothiadiazine - 1,1-dioxide) was synthesized simultaneously, but independently, Stevens and Koenig in 1958.

Corticosteroids are widely used in the treatment of acute systemic lupus erythematosus, while in the treatment of the chronic form of the disease, they are used little, and the method of treatment has not been developed.

The problem of combating late toxicosis of pregnancy is still one of the most urgent.

Timely diagnosis of the opening of the fetal bladder is of certain clinical interest. The previously practiced diagnostic methods did not justify themselves. In view of this, in recent years, a search for new methods has been undertaken in the form of microscopic examination of fresh preparations.

A foreign body of the ureter is an extremely rare pathology, almost always associated with a gunshot wound, and a foreign body can enter the ureter not only at the time of injury, but also "secondarily" - from the renal pelvis.

Cases of ectopic pregnancy in the free abdominal cavity are extremely rare (according to A.D. Alovsky - 0.4%). The diagnosis of pregnancy in the free abdominal cavity is very difficult. The diagnosis is more often made at the operating table. In the light of these facts, the case of abdominal pregnancy observed by us is of interest.

Poisoning with pirafen is extremely rare, while poisoning with it in combination with norsulfazole, one must think, may occur sooner, which prompted us to report this case.

For all cases of injuries with loss of ability to work, trauma cards are filled out, cases of injuries without loss of ability to work were registered in a separate journal in a specific form.

Hemorrhagic fevers are found in various republics and regions of our country, and there is no doubt that the more doctors are aware of the clinical manifestations and methods of laboratory confirmation of this group of diseases, the more complete our ideas about the regions of their distribution will be. The literature on this issue is scattered and not always available to doctors in the periphery. That is why the publication of a monograph by E.A.

Rich personal experience allowed the author to clearly and fairly fully illuminate in the reviewed book X-ray diagnostics of diseases and injuries of the paranasal cavities.
