Diagnostics and surgical treatment of soft tissue tumors of the chest wall

Trishkin V.A., Stolyarov V.I., Musukaev H.M.

Abstract

The analysis of case histories of 1015 patients with various soft tissue diseases was carried out. In 104 of them (10.2%), the pathological focus was localized in the soft tissues of the chest wall. Sarcomas predominated (62 cases). With the localization of a pathological formation in these areas, X-ray examination is difficult. For differential diagnosis, it is advisable to resort more widely to methods of puncture (aspiration) biopsy. Excision of the tumor should be performed 2-3 cm apart from the palpable borders. In 25 out of 81 radically operated patients, the underlying bones were resected in a single block with the removed tissues.

Surgical treatment of soft tissue sarcomas

Sigal M.Z., Fatuhova G.F.

Abstract

In 46 patients with sarcomas, extensive soft tissue resections were performed using free skin defect plasty. The limits of resection were determined on the basis of preoperative examination, examination and palpation of various tissue layers during the operation. Defects were replaced with free skin grafts ranging in size from 40 to 300 cm2.

The value of gastrofibroscopy in the diagnosis of recurrent gastric cancer

Napolskih V.M.

Abstract

The tactic of active monitoring of patients operated on for stomach cancer was applied. The scope of examination of patients, carried out every 3-6 months, along with the clinical method included X-ray and gastro-fibroscopic studies of the operated stomach. Two cases of timely diagnosis of disease recurrence with its localization in the stomach stump are presented. The advantage of gastrofibroscopy over the X-ray method is shown.

Lopatkin N.A., Mazo E.B., Kulga L.G.

Abstract

The immediate results of urine diversion surgery were studied in 149 patients (age - from 15 to 82 years). 135 of them were operated on for bladder cancer and 14 for non-oncological diseases. Ureterosigmoanastomosis was performed in 67 patients, ureterocutaneostomy in 69, Bricker operation in 6, pyelonephrostomy in 7. Particular attention was paid to preoperative preparation and postoperative management of patients with ureteral transplantation into the intestines. In the group of patients specially prepared for surgery, the frequency of complications in the immediate postoperative period was 2.5 times lower.

Prevalence of diseases of the urinary system in children in the city of Kazan

Petrova G.P., Trofimova I.S., Halitova M.S.

Abstract

The territorial-nesting method examined 3000 children. 84 of them (2.8%) had diseases of the urinary system. Most of the patients are girls (70). Urenal infection prevailed (76 children). In 71 children, kidney damage was detected for the first time during the examination. An unfavorable prenatal period of child development, a hereditary predisposition to kidney disease, hereditary allergic burden, and allergic reactivity in children are the most significant risk factors for urinary system disease in childhood.

Clinical and laboratory symptoms of changes in the pyelocaliceal system in pyelonephritis in children

Protopopov A.A.

Abstract

It was found that the clinical symptoms of pyelonephritis in children are a reflection of changes in the calyx-pelvis system. Clinical manifestations such as asthenia, dysuric disorders, pain in the abdomen and lower back, with bilateral changes in the calyx-pelvic system, occur 2-4 times more often than with unilateral ones. The degree of impairment of the outflow of urine from the kidneys also clearly affects the frequency of asthenia, abdominal pain, dysuric and dyspeptic disorders. With pyelonephritis, the excretion of ammonia decreases and the release of oxalates, uric acid, calcium, phosphorus increases in proportion to the severity of changes in the pyelocaliceal system.

Functional state of the liver in patients with dumping syndrome

Bogoyavlenskiy V.F., Oparin A.G., Gazizov R.M.

Abstract

56 patients with dumping syndrome were examined. In 44 people, an increase in the activity of the isozymes LDH5,4, MDG3, ALP3, 1, CF1, AST2 was found to decrease the activity of the fourth fraction of esterases, while in 18 of them clinically, according to the results of widely used functional tests, no changes in the liver were detected. This gives grounds to recommend the study of the activity of hepatic isoenzymes LDH, MDH, ALP, CF, ACT esterases for early. identification of liver lesions in dumping syndrome in patients with resected patients; keywords: dumping syndrome, liver, blood serum enzymes.

Abstract

In 46 patients with chronic inflammation of the uterine appendages, ovarian function, excretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) and vascular reactivity (including blood circulation in the pelvic organs) were studied. The age of the patients is from 20 to 35 years old. In 11 patients, menarche began at 11-12 years, in 22, at 13-14, in 13, at 15-17 years. In 23 women, as a result of the inflammatory process, there was a violation of the menstrual cycle: in 10 - menorrhagia, in 6 - metrorrhagia, in 3 - opsomenorrhea, in 4 - intermenstrual spotting. 32 out of 46 women suffered from infertility; in 12 it was primary, in 20 it was secondary. Using the technique of three levels of exposure to acupuncture points

Tabeeva D.M.

Abstract

We have developed a methodology for the rational combination of acupuncture points using a differentiated approach to three levels of exposure. Allocated conditionally three levels of "homeostasis" of the system of active points. The 1st level is represented by the functional interconnection of acupuncture points of the main meridians, the 2nd - by the functional interconnection of the points of the secondary meridians and the 3rd - "miraculous" meridians. Each of these levels is represented by specific acupuncture points, which constitute the levels of exposure.

Factors influencing the process of chemical carcinogenesis

Shabad L.M., Belyaev I.I., Gimadeev M.M., Litvinov U.A.

Abstract

Identifying the sources of carcinogens entering the environment and developing measures to prevent pollution of the latter is a very important aspect of cancer prevention, but it does not exhaust this entire problem. In the classical hygienic triad: factor - organism - health-improving measures, the link organism has not yet been given due attention. Meanwhile, the effect of a pathogenic factor depends not only on its strength and duration of action, but also on the state of the internal environment of the body [3, 18a, 25].
