Characteristics of the epidemic process of measles in the Tatar ASSR
Abstract
The incidence of measles in the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, as well as in other regions and republics, occupied one of the first places in the infectious pathology of childhood. Measles control measures used until recent years, the main of which was mass passive immunization with anti-measles gammaglobulin, led to a decrease in the severity of the disease among those vaccinated and to a decrease in mortality. However, due to the short-term protective effect of gammaglobulin, it was not possible to achieve a significant reduction in the incidence of measles.
On the question of enzymological diagnosis of myocardial infarction

Prevention of thromboembolic complications during surgical interventions in patients with gynecological pathology
Abstract
According to pathologists, thrombosis and embolism rank third among the causes of death and account for 10-23% of postoperative mortality. Thromboembolism occurs in patients suffering from diseases of the veins of the lower extremities, which forces many gynecologists to refuse surgical interventions in such patients.
Continuous treatment of syphilis patients with penicillin and bicillin
Abstract
We have studied the effectiveness of continuous treatment of patients with syphilis with penicillin and bicillin based on long-term results. The patients under our supervision were divided into 2 groups depending on the total dose of antibiotics. Patients 1st group received the total doses of penicillin and bicillin-3 according to the syphilis treatment regimens approved by the USSR Ministry of Health in 1962, patients of the 2nd group - in a slightly reduced total dosage.
Malignant exophthalmos and glaucoma as a manifestation of diencephalic syndrome
Abstract
In the last 3-4 decades, along with Graves (or benign) exophthalmos, the so-called malignant or progressive exophthalmos has been distinguished as an independent nosological unit. There is also an opinion that there is no clear border between them, and the difference lies only in the degree of manifestation of changes. In the differential diagnosis of malignant exophthalmos from thyrotoxic, the detection of increased intraocular pressure during tonometry during the period of looking upward helps (Draeger, Schneider, 1963).

Dynamics of the systole phases of the left and right ventricles of the heart in patients with myocardial infarction
Abstract
Numerous clinical observations indicate that with myocardial necrosis, the contractile function of not only the left, but also the right ventricle is impaired. This prompted us to study the dynamics of the contractile function of the left and right ventricles in patients with myocardial infarction, as well as to determine the effect of the necrosis focus on the contractility of the right ventricle and the timing of its recovery.

Abstract
The increase in the incidence of many forms of cancer in most of the industrialized countries of the world is well known. At present, almost no one disputes the existence of a definite connection between the growth of cancer incidence, on the one hand, and industrialization and urbanization, on the other.
Blood lymphocyte transformation test in pathology and clinic
Abstract
At the beginning of this century, the well-known histologist A.A.Maksimov, on the basis of many years of research on the morphology of lymphoid tissue, came to the conclusion that a small lymphocyte can change its function and morphology under the influence of a number of factors. The main conclusion was made that the lymphocyte is a pluripotent cell. This situation was brilliantly confirmed in subsequent experiments on artificial cultivation of peripheral blood invitro lymphocytes, as well as fragments of lymph nodes of the spleen, thymus, and other organs [17].

Simultaneous automatic calibration of electrocardiograms and rheograms
Abstract
The accuracy of recording the functions of the cardiovascular system using the existing cardiological equipment is largely determined by the reference signals supplied from the calibration devices. Manual calibration of electrograms, especially with simultaneous recording of a number of physiological parameters, to a certain extent complicates the work of a doctor and does not meet modern metrological requirements.
