In the first years, sanitary supervision was carried out only in Kazan by 13 full-time sanitary doctors. There were no sanitary personnel in the regions of the republic.

Ways of electrical impulse therapy for atrial fibrillation
Abstract
The electrical impulse reversion of the physiological rhythm with a number of its violations, undoubtedly, was one of the (Major achievements of modern cardiology. The vast experience accumulated in recent years has shown that in most cases of atrial fibrillation, the functional ability of the sinus node, a normal pacemaker, is preserved during atrial fibrillation.

The effectiveness of combined therapy with cardiac glycosides and ATP in patients with chronic circulatory failure according to rheohepatography
Abstract
One of the ways to reduce the toxic effect of cardiac glycosides, reduce the number of conditions refractory to them and enhance the therapeutic effect is their use in combination with drugs that stimulate the synthesis of nucleic acids and energy production.

Morphological changes in the myocardium of the "intact" zone after partial resection and eraser of the right ventricle of the heart in the experiment
Abstract
In recent years, the attention of clinicians and pathologists has been attracted by the so-called metabolic myocardial damage, which is not associated with mechanical disturbance of blood flow in individual branches of the coronary arteries. The cause of such damage to the heart muscle can be toxic effects, functional overload, hypoxia, ionic balance disorders, dyshormonal disorders, beriberi [2, 6, 8, 9].

On the clinical value of determining the ratio of residual volume to total lung capacity in mitral stenosis
Abstract
The importance of determining the percentage of the residual volume to the total lung capacity (RO / OEL) in the diagnosis of pulmonary emphysema was pointed out by Bor (1907) Luft et al., Birat, RI Agranovich consider an increase in this ratio to be a pathognomonic sign of emphysema.

The value of the valsalva test in assessing changes in the end part of the ventricular complex of the ecg during physical overstrain
Abstract
Modern society is characterized by the presence of two large groups of people, sharply opposite in the functional state of the heart, in the ability to perform physical activity. On the one hand, these are people involved in physical culture and sports, on the other, people of mental labor, whose physical activity is extremely low [5].

Changes in the right ventricular cardiogram with mitral stenosis
Abstract
Recently, to study cardiac activity, recordings of movements of the apical (apical cardiogram - VeKG) and cardiac (right ventricular cardiogram - PC) shocks have again begun to be used. To date, VeKG has been described in some detail in many heart diseases, while PK has been studied relatively little.

Hypotensive effect of dopegit
Abstract
In recent years, the number of pharmacological agents for the treatment of hypertension and symptomatic hypertension has significantly increased. At the same time, there is a certain delay in the clinical evaluation of some new drugs, and therefore the successes of pharmacochemistry are not fully realized.

Treatment of hypertensive patients with dopegitis
Abstract
Expansion of the understanding of the physiological significance of pressor amines, obtaining data on increased sensitivity to catecholamines in hypertensive patients made it possible to attempt to treat hypertensive patients with inhibitors of catecholamine synthesis.

The course of anaphylactic shock against the background of heparin and some aspects of the clinical use of heparin
Abstract
Heparin is credited with the role of one of the inhibitors of allergic reactions. Hence the attempt by various authors to elucidate the effect of heparin on the development of anaphylactic shock is understandable. VP Kaznacheev (1960) sensitized 25 guinea pigs with the introduction of human serum. For 10-14 minutes. before the introduction of a permissive dose of serum, he injected each pig with heparin intravenously at a dose of 1000-2000 IU per kg of body weight. In 10 minutes. all animals died from anaphylactic shock. It was concluded that heparin does not inhibit the development of anaphylactic shock in guinea pigs.

Sensitization to the products of enterobacteriaceae in chronic cholecystitis and the effectiveness of specific hyposensitization
Abstract
This report presents the results of detecting sensitization to bacteria of the intestinal family in patients with chronic cholecystitis and elucidating the effectiveness of specific hyposensitization included in the complex of therapeutic measures for diseases of the biliary system of the liver.

On diet therapy of patients with infectious-allergic bronchial asthma
Abstract
Attempts to develop desensitizing diets have been made by many scientists. MI Pevzner (1949) proposed a diet with restriction of carbohydrates and proteins. NI Leporskiy (1957), considering proteins as the main food allergen, recommended their sharp limitation - 25-30 g. Numerous clinical observations have not confirmed the effectiveness of these food regimes.

Huanier reaction in assessing the activity of the rheumatic process
Abstract
The leading place in the diagnosis of the activity of the rheumatic process belongs to the clinical manifestations of the disease. However, at present, latent and subclinical forms of the disease predominate, and therefore much attention has been paid to laboratory diagnostic methods. The tendency of rheumatism to (chronic and recurrent course gives reason to consider it from the point of view of immunopathology as an autoaggressive disease, therefore, methods have become widespread that allow directly or indirectly determining antibodies circulating in the blood.

Spa treatment of patients with infectious nonspecific (rheumatoid) polyarthritis
Abstract
Despite the progress achieved in studying the problem of infectious nonspecific polyarthritis, the treatment of those suffering from this disease is still very difficult. It is now recognized that it is not only the choice of a treatment complex that provides an effect on many links of pathogenesis that matters, but also the systematic nature of the therapeutic measures. An important stage in the treatment of patients with infectious nonspecific polyarthritis is spa treatment.

Dynamics of immunological reactions in the treatment of rheumatism with hormonal drugs
Abstract
Hormonal drugs are widely used in the treatment of rheumatism. It is known that corticosteroids, being substances of catabolic action, cause suppression of immunological reactions. In this case, in some cases, it is possible "to reduce the general defenses of the organism. In recent years, in the treatment of a number of diseases, anabolic steroids are often used simultaneously with corticosteroids. At the same time, according to the conclusion of B. Ya. Reznik and M. S. Dats-Epstein, anabolic drugs cannot replace any drugs and are only an addition to the usual complex therapy.

Phagocytic activity of leukocytes in women with gonorrhea
Abstract
Changes in peripheral blood in patients with gonorrhea were previously studied only using morphological methods. The study of the functional activity of leukocytes in gonorrhea has not found sufficient reflection in the literature. There are only a few reports (A. Ya. Vilenchuk, 1929; 3. A. Lesina, 1948).

Development of postural asystole against the background of induction anesthesia with fluorotan
Abstract
Sudden cardiac arrest is a formidable complication of surgery, pain relief and some diagnostic procedures. One of the many reasons for its occurrence may be a change in the position of the patient during general anesthesia. Postural asystole usually occurs with potentiated anesthesia, as well as in patients with lesions of the spinal cord and spine, with cardiovascular diseases. Most often, asystole is observed in response to the rotation of anesthetized patients into one of the lateral positions.
