ABOUT MEDICO-GEOGRAPHIC STUDY OF TASSR

Landushev I.V.

Abstract

Over the past 10-15 years, much attention has been paid to medical and geographical research in the Soviet Union and abroad. Interest in such studies is explained by the fact that they are of great practical importance in the long-term planning of health care development, in the development of measures aimed at reducing or eliminating certain human diseases, building new cities and enterprises, developing new territories and solving many other national economic problems.

DYNAMICS OF IMMUNOLOGICAL INDICATORS IN PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATISM

Kuramshina M.G., Shikhova N.M., Shikhova E.I., Babkina V.L.

Abstract

Most scientists are supporters of the infectious-allergic nature of rheumatism (A.I. Nesterov, V.I. Molchanov, V.E. Nezlin, V.I. Ioffe, M.P. Konchalovsky, etc.). A number of authors indicate that focal ß-streptococcal infection is a source of body sensitization necessary for the onset of the disease.

Erythrocyte permeability to Р32 FOR RHEUMATIC HEART LESIONS

Berezovskyi B.S.

Abstract

Work on blood preservation and experimental biochemical studies show that the usefulness of erythrocytes is associated with the normal course of the metabolic process in them, mainly manifested in glycolysis, which gives erythrocytes all the energy necessary for metabolism. SE Severin (1946), GE Vladimirov and others (1947) note that the termination of glycolysis leads to hemolysis and death of erythrocytes.

CHANGES IN INTRAPLEURAL PRESSURE DURING ABDOMINAL PELOTING

Sigal I.Z.

Abstract

Abdominal pelotting was proposed by VL Einis (1927-1928) for additional lifting and limiting the mobility of the diaphragm after phrenicoperation. F.A.Mikhailov (1944) showed the advisability of using abdominal pelotting to neutralize negative intrapleural pressure when preparing a gas bubble for thoracoscopy and thoracocaustics. Subsequently, abdominal pelotting began to be used as an adjunct to pneumoperitoneum.

MODERN RESPONSE METHODS

Okylov A.M.

Abstract

VA Negovsky conditionally distinguishes three phases of the terminal state - pre-agonal, agony and clinical death. The best results of treatment of the terminal state are obtained in those patients in whom assistance is started in the pre-agonal state. Here it is necessary to save not minutes, but seconds, since within 5-6 minutes after the cessation of respiration and blood circulation, such changes in the cells of the central nervous system occur, in which the restoration of their functions, and consequently, life is impossible. Therefore, the main task in helping a person in a terminal state is to maintain respiration and blood circulation.

ON THE PAGES OF THE KAZAN MEDICAL JOURNAL

Shamarin P.I.

Abstract

Kazan Medical Journal ”has been published intermittently since 1901. Historically, it was the only medical journal in the Volga region for a long time. The medical faculty of Saratov University has existed since 1909, other medical universities in the Volga region were organized much later. And although in the twenties and thirties other medical journals and works were published, "Kazan Medical Journal" was traditionally considered the leading one in the Volga region. It is therefore natural that when Kazan scientists took the initiative to resume the publication of the journal after a break associated with the Great Patriotic War, they turned for support to scientific societies and teams of medical universities and research institutes in the Volga region. Support has been received.
