NERVOUS MANIFESTATIONS OF RHEUMATISM
Abstract
Over the past decade, a significant number of works have been devoted to the study of the clinic of neurorheumatism and, in particular, cerebral rheumatism. Most of the authors in their conclusions are based on histopathological studies of the central nervous system, the degree and nature of damage to the vessels of the brain and spinal cord, damage to the meninges.

SERUM CHOLESTEROL DYNAMICS IN RHEUMATIC
Abstract
As you know, in acute rheumatism in the body, there are deep immune-biological and biochemical shifts: the titer of the complement decreases (3.I. Malkin and D.G. Tumasheva), the cellular reaction of the cantharidin bladder changes (K.E. Myasnikov, 3.A. Myasnikov); globulin fractions predominate in the composition of blood proteins (ND Morozova).

ON THE RESULTS OF HEPARIN APPLICATION IN PATIENTS WITH CORONARY CIRCULATION DISORDERS
Abstract
Anticoagulants are increasingly used in the complex therapy of patients with impaired coronary circulation. The number of anticoagulants with a different mechanism and speed of action is growing, and therefore the choice of an anticoagulant can be of significant importance.

ABOUT ANTICOAGULANTS TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION WITH THROMBOENDOCARDITIS
Abstract
The greatest danger of embolism in patients with myocardial infarction, according to V.E. Nezlin, exists in the first days and weeks of the disease. Therefore, attempts to prevent embolism associated with parietal thromboendocarditis will be effective when anticoagulant therapy is started from the first days.

APPLICATION OF DICUMARIN IN THROMBOFLEBITIS AND PHLEBOTROMBOSIS
Abstract
In recent years, doctors of various specialties are increasingly faced with various manifestations of the thrombotic process - thrombophlebitis, phlebothrombosis, coronary thrombosis, obliterating thromboangiitis, thrombosis of cerebral vessels, etc.

The content of eosinophils in the blood of patients with STOMACH CANCER AND LUNG CANCER
Abstract
In modern hematology, it is recognized that eosinophilia occurs with allergic reactions and a state of sensitization. Eosinophilic granulocytes are credited with a detoxification function, participation in the adsorption of histamine. According to P. Heilmeyer, in patients with malignant neoplasms, a state of sensitization by the products of tumor decay is possible and with a secondary infection that complicates the course of the underlying disease.

ABOUT TOTAL GASTROECTOMY
Abstract
In recent years, total gastrectomy has become quite widespread both in our country and abroad, being the operation of choice for advanced gastric cancer, especially its cardiac section. In this regard, the operability of gastric cancer, according to some authors who have a large statistical material, reaches 65% (Walter), and according to Dziadek (I. Dziadek) - even 82%.

SECRETARY FUNCTION OF THE STOMACH RESECTED FOR PURPOSE DISEASE
Abstract
Diseases of the operated stomach were discussed at the 24th Congress of Surgeons. Since then, the press has widely covered issues related to the consequences of surgical intervention for gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, namely: hematopoiesis, metabolism, digestion and compensatory mechanisms, relapses of the disease, disability.

ABOUT DAMAGE TO THE PUBLIC JUNCTION DURING CHILDBIRTH
Abstract
Greater or lesser damage to the pubic articulation during childbirth occurs more often than is commonly thought. In the maternity hospital. K, Zetkin, pubic articulation rupture was observed 1 time in 1524 deliveries, and Petchenko, observed it 1 time in 1000 deliveries.

TO CLINICAL AND ETIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GASTROINTESTINAL DISEASES IN YOUNG CHILDREN
Abstract
Most pediatricians (MS Maslov, TS Sokolova, etc.) believe that intestinal disorders in young children are most often caused by dysentery infection, salmonella, viruses, staphylococci, pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli, protozoa; the fungal origin of such diseases is also possible.

TO X-RAY DIAGNOSIS OF MALIGNANT NOSE CAVITIES
Abstract
For 10 years, the author has carried out detailed X-ray, including tomographic, studies of 25 patients with malignant tumors (14 cancerous and 11 sarcomatous), 22 patients with benign neoplasms of the paranasal cavities (17 osteomas, 2 fibromas, 1 osteochondroma, 1 chondroma and 1 cementoma) and 40 patients with maxillary sinus cysts. These observations formed the basis of this work.

MULTIPLE THROMBOSIS OF LARGE VESSELS WITH A HANGING THROMBUS IN THE LEFT ATRIAL ANEURISM OF THE RIGHT ATRIAL
Abstract
B-noi S., 61 years old, was admitted to the hospital in January 1957 with complaints of general weakness, palpitations, shortness of breath at rest, significant edema, weakness in the lower extremities. He considered himself to be a patient since January 1956, when shortness of breath, palpitations, discomfort in the region of the heart, and cough first appeared.

MULTIPLE PERFORATION OF DYZENTERIAL ULTRA
Abstract
One of the most severe and rare complications of dysentery is peritonitis. It is observed in 7% of deaths with dysentery (Sh. S. Halfen), and in 6% it develops without macroscopically determined perforation, and only in 1% perforation of a dysentery ulcer is found.

THREE CASES OF UTERINE CHORIONEPITELIOMA
Abstract
Chorionepithelioma of the uterus is one of the most malignant tumors of the female reproductive apparatus. The patient's life depends on its timely diagnosis. However, diagnosis is often delayed due to the low alertness of the doctor in relation to this tumor.

ABOUT PROTHROMBIN TEST FOR DIAGNOSIS OF EXTRAUTERIC PREGNANCY
Abstract
In emergency surgery, it is often necessary to meet with acute abdominal pathology, when differential diagnosis without additional studies is difficult. Especially often there is a need to distinguish between inflammatory processes of the lower abdomen from an ectopic pregnancy.

NATURAL LEAD CONTENT IN SOIL AND FOOD
Abstract
The rapidly developing theory of trace elements over the past 15-30 years has marked the beginning of a new era in biology. It has been proven that such microelements as zinc, copper, cobalt, silicon, bromine, iodine, fluorine, arsenic, molybdenum are vital; it is considered probable that at least 12 more trace elements are needed, and perhaps all trace elements that make up organisms in the process of evolution are attracted to participate in various biochemical processes (V.I. Vernadsky, A.P. Vinogradov, K.A. Timiryazev, V.I. . V. Kovalsky).

The methods used now for staining microscopic preparations were introduced into practice several decades ago and have not undergone any significant changes. Meanwhile, these methods have a number of disadvantages that significantly reduce their value.

METHOD FOR SHARPENING BONE FORCE TYPE LUERET, BORHARDT, VOLKMAN BONE SPOONS
Abstract
Bone forceps such as Luer, Borchardt, sharp bony spoons, curettes, and similar instruments are almost usually discarded as unusable simply because they cannot be sharpened with conventional methods. The above instruments, according to our calculations, account for 4-5% of those written off. As an exchange of experience, we decided to report on a method that we have successfully used for a number of years for sharpening complex sharp parts of tools.
