Formation of risk groups for the prevention of ischemic heart disease among fertile women
Abstract
The epidemiologic examination of 962 young women is performed and autopsy reports of 102 women of the same age died of ischemic heart disease are considered. Four leading causes (postgestosis, uterus myoma, menopause, arterial hypertension) are stood out in correlation of the risk factors of ischemic heart disease of living women and those died of this disease. The factors revealed allow to form the risk groups of ischemic heart disease for preventive measures.
Differential diagnosis of chronic cardiac and pulmonary insufficiency using echocardiographic examination
Abstract
The echocardiographic examination of 78 patients with chronic pulmonary diseases and 85 patients with various stages of cardiac and pulmonary insufficiency is performed. As many as 28 patients without cardiac and pulmonary diseases are examined as a control group. A group of patients (20) with combination of chronic cardiac and pulmonary diseases is stood out. The results of the investigations revealed the reliable changes of the echocardiographic indices that can be used for the differential diagnosis of chronic cardiac and pulmonary insufficiency.
Comparative estimation of esophagoplasty variants in esophagus carcinoma
Abstract
The comparative multifactor analysis of immediate and remote outcomes as well as functional disorders in various transpleural (80%) and extracavitary (20%) methods of operations is performed. The postoperative lethality comprises 9,6% (as a result of failure of anastomosis and stomach wall necrosis it is 4,8%). Three-year survival rate depends heavily on the process stage (6,8% in I — II stage and 32% in III stage; P < 0,05). The differential choice of the method and volume with due regard for the localization in I and II stages provides efficacy and reliability of anastomosis at any level and satisfactory quality of life. The results of the radical operations performed in 104 patients with esophagus carcinoma are analyzed.
Invaginational-and-valvular choledochoentero anastomosis
Abstract
The invaginational and valvular choledochoen-teroanastomosis that has explicit advantages as compared with similar types of anastomoses is suggested. The histologic specimens of choledochoenteroanastomosis place prove a clinical picture of its complete healing and normal functioning, lack of cicatrization and reflux of enteric contents in choledochs. The anastomosis type recommended can be used in clinical conditions for reconstructive operations on biliary tracts.
Treatment of aceptic necrosis of the semilunar hand bone
Abstract

The different nosologic forms of neurogenous gastrointestinal dyskinesias and urinary bladder disfunctions are described, it is the author's opinion that the bases for them are the unified patogenetic neurogenous mechanisms of development.
The state of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system in patients with luteal phase insufficiency and pathogenetic therapy
Abstract
The state of peroxide oxidation of lipoids and antioxidant system in sterility in patients with lutein phase insufficiency is studied for the justification of pathogenetic therapy. It is noted that the intensity of peroxide oxidation of lipoids depends on the genesis of the given pathology. The effective pathogenetically justified, basically nonmedicamental acupunctural therapy is developed.
Reflexotherapy by stages in gynecologic endoscopy
Abstract
The utility of the application of reflexotherapy in endoscopic operations of gynecology is shown. The injection of physiologic solution into the points of the auricle floor and along its perimeter potentiates premedication, general anesthesia, decreases the use of narcotic analgetics and provides the prevention of postoperative complications. The registration of cutaneogalvanic response offers a criterion of anesthesia adequacy.
Extrauterine pregnancy and intrauterine contraception
Abstract
The role of intrauterine contraception as a risk factor of extrauterine pregnancy initiation is studied using the analysis results within 4 years in Tatarstan (1992—1995). As many as 26,9% of the women of fertile age use intrauterine contraception. Extrauterine pregnancy is found, on the average, in 1390 women. The close direct correlation between the use of intrauterine contraception and the incidence of extrauterine pregnancy is revealed suggesting that intrauterine contraception is a risk factor.
On treatment of moderate and severe forms of Flexner's dysentery 2a
Abstract
The comparison of the treatment efficiency of patients with Flexner's 2a dysentery with fluochinolones (in peroral and parenteral administration) and antibacterial drugs of other groups is performed. The antibiotic sensitivity of Flexner 2a Shigella strains evolved from patients with midgrave and grave forms of dysentery (during life and postmortelly) using the methods of disks and serial cultivation is studied. It is established that the largest sensitivity of Flexner 2a Shigella is expressed in tarivid that is a highly effective antibacterial drug for the treatment of patients with midgrave and grave course of Flexner's dysentery. There is significant resistance of Flexner 2a Shigella to the traditionally used antibacterial drugs for the treatment of dysentery.
Diagnosis of testicular tissue affection by the level of specific thermostable alpha-glycoprotein in ejaculate of patients with chronic prostatitis
Abstract
As many as 196 men with chronic prostatitis аre examined. The concentration of specific thermostable alphaglycoprotein in ejaculate is determined by Oukhterlony s immunodiffusion method. The patients are treated with prostatilen. The latent functional insufficciency of testicules that is partially normalized after therapy with prostalinen is established.
Cases of the affection of visual and audition organs in early forms of syphilis
Abstract
The peculiarity of syphilis course in the present — day stage is the affection of internal organs, visual and audition organs. The rarity and lack of the affection specific clinical picture of visual and audition organs in early forms of syphilis can be a result of diagnostic errors. The observations presented testifies that the variety of the clinical picture of syphilis is not adequately studied by physicians of particular specialities.
Surgery of duodenal injuries
Abstract
Closed duodenal injury (CLI) was first described in 1894 by N.M. Verzilov. In 1896 Petry reported about 9 similar injuries. Antibiotic therapy in patients with surgical sepsis and pulmonary-broncho-pulmonary complications
Abstract
In 152 patients with pulmonary-broncho-pleural complications (PBLS) developing against the background of surgical sepsis, rational antibiotic therapy was administered. Before laboratory microflora examination, 2 antibiotics were prescribed, and 3 antibiotics were prescribed for anaerobic sepsis, based on the clinical assumption of the pathogen type. Broad-spectrum antibiotics (claforan, amikacin, gentamicin, metronidazole, etc.) were used. After laboratory investigation, according to the bacteriogram data, targeted antibiotic therapy was switched to.
Foreign bodies of common bile duct
Abstract
After endoscopic retrograde pancreatocholangiography, endoscopic nasobiliary drainage and removal of external drains in the postoperative period sometimes fragments of catheters remain in the common bile duct. The left foreign bodies contribute to cholangitis, pancreatitis, mechanical jaundice and concrements formation.
To the treatment of ligature fistulas
Abstract
The treatment of ligature fistulas is a rather difficult task. According to most authors, a frequent mistake is prolonged conservative treatment, including physiotherapeutic methods. The attempt to remove the cause of local suppuration, i.e. ligature, with a clamp is also considered flawed: this method can cause severe complications associated with damage to internal organs, so it is correct and safer to excise the fistula in hospital conditions. At the same time this method of treatment inevitably causes bleeding from the damaged vessels, which requires their ligation, i.e. it creates conditions for the reappearance of fistulas.
Apparatuses with a system of spring elements for the treatment of dental anomalies
Abstract
There are various conservative methods for the treatment and prevention of dentoalveolar anomalies. Undoubtedly, early initiation of orthodontic treatment allows not only to eliminate morphological and functional disorders of the oral cavity and jaws, but also to create conditions for the harmonious development of the facial skeleton. Refusal of early treatment leads to consolidation and aggravation of anomalies and aesthetic disorders, which are more difficult to treat in adulthood.
Optimization of extravasal correction of lower limb main vein valve failure in varicose veins
Abstract
Various methods have been proposed for surgical correction of venous valve insufficiency. Extravasal correction with framework elastic spirals (A.N. Vedensky) is the most widespread. The disadvantage of this method is empirical selection of the spiral diameter for correction of venous valve incompetence.
