In the XII volume of the Kazan Medical Journal for 1912 and in No. 1 of the Centralblatt für Chirugrie for 1913, I published my experiments on the use of constant subcutaneous drainage for the treatment of asditis. Taking advantage of the idea of Mikulich-Krause, who adopted a permanent subcutaneous drainage for the treatment of Hyprocephalus, I, in order to improve the outcome of Talma's operation, added a permanent subcutaneous drainage to it.
