Intradermal reaction with typhoid fever

Abstract

Having applied an intradermal test with typhoid toxin in a significant number of patients suffering from both typhoid fever and other acute febrile illnesses, Alisov and Morozkin came to the conclusion that this reaction is diagnostically equivalent to Widala's reaction, surpassing the latter in the speed of detection and greater technical simplicity.

Применив внутрикожную пробу брюшнотифозным токсином у значительного числа больных, страдавших как брюшным тифом, так и другими острыми лихорадочными заболеваниями, Алисов и Морозкин (Микроб. Ж., 1927, т. IV, вып. 1) пришли к выводу, что реакция эта в диагностическом отношении равноценна реакции Widаlʹя, превосходя последнюю скоростью обнаружения и большею техническою простотою.
