Abstract
On the basis of experimental research Kross (Amer, journ. Ofobst., 1922; ref. Zentr. F. Gyn., 1923, no. 35) found that leaving the ovaries after removal of the uterus does not guarantee against the disorders inherent in menopause.

На основании экспериментальных исследований Kross (Amer, journ. ofobst., 1922; реф. Zentr. f. Gyn., 1923, № 35) нашел, что оставление яичников после удаления матки не гарантирует от расстройств, присущих менопаузе. С другой стороны при оставлении яичников выступает значительная опасность их кистовидного и пр. перерождения. Поэтому автор думает, что во всех случаях гистерэктомии надо удалять и яичники.
