Mechanics of torsion of the pedicle of ovarian tumors Sellheim’y (Arch. f. Gyn., Bd СХѴІII, № 2)

Abstract

According to Sellheim’y (Arch. F. Gyn., Bd CXVII, No. 2), the reason for this twisting lies in the transmission of rotations of the whole body of patients with tumors. In the same way, the author explains the origin of the twisting of all internal organs, as well as the origin of the spirals on the umbilical cord of the fetus.

По Sellheim’y (Arch. f. Gyn., Bd СХѴІII, № 2) причина этого перекручивания лежит в передаче вращений всего тела больных опухолям. Таким же путем автор об’ясняет и происхождение перекручиваний всех внутренних органов, а равно происхождение спиралей на пуповине плода. В 3 случаях у больных с кистами яичника автору удалось экспериментально вызвать перекручивание ножки опухолей, заставив больных вращать свое тело.
