To the formation of an artificial vagina. Е. Kugue (Mon. f. Geb. i. Gyn., 1928, Bd. 78)

Abstract

As is known, for this purpose gynecologists use mainly two methods - the Baldwin'a-Mori method, in which the artificial vagina is formed from the small intestine, and the Popov-Schubert method, where the rectum is used to form an artificial sleeve. Each of these methods has its defenders and opponents, for each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. Wishing to combine the advantages of both methods, E. Kugue proposes to form an artificial vagina from flexura sigmoidea, which method was successfully tested by him in 5 cases.

Как известно, для этой цели гинекологи пользуются преимущественно двумя методами, — методом Ваldwin’a-Mоri, при котором искусственное влагалище образуется из тонкой кишки, и методом Поповa-Sсhubеrt’a, где для образования искусственного рукава пользуются прямой кишкой. Каждый из этих методов имеет своих защитников и противников, ибо каждому из них присущи свои выгоды и свои недостатки. Желая соединить преимущество обоих методов, Е. Кugе предлагает образовать искусственное влагалище из flexura sigmoidea, каковой способ был с успехом испробован им в 5 случаях.
