X-rays in acute inflammation. S. Fried (Strahlentherapie, 1927, Bd. 26, No. 3)

Abstract

По С. Fried’y наилучшие результаты от рентгенизации получаются при чирьях подмышечных потовых желез — в 95,6%; далее следуют вообще чирьи, паранефритические и иные нагноения мягких частей, лимфангиты, флегмоны, послеоперационные пнеймонии, angina Vincenti, заболевания маточных придатков, зубные воспаления, — здесь рентгенизация дает до 85% успехов; затем идут рожа, панариции, воспаления лимфатических желез, остаточные нагноения после аппендицита, — здесь процент успешности доходит до 75; на следующем месте стоят воспаления околоушной железы, грудных желез и яичек – 60% успеха; остеомиелит, плеврит и гнилокровие дают до 55% выздоровлений. Зато при otitis media получилось лишь 28% успехов, и вообще воспаления в костных полостях подчиняются рентгенотерапии всех слабее.

According to C. Fried the best results from roentgenization are obtained in cases of axillary sweat gland boils - in 95.6%; then follow generally boils, paranephritic and other suppurations of soft parts, lymphangitis, phlegmon, postoperative pneumonia, angina Vincenti, diseases of the uterine appendages, dental inflammations - here roentgenization gives up to 85% of success; Then follow rye, panaritis, inflammations of lymph glands, residual suppuration after appendicitis - here the success rate reaches 75%; in the next place are inflammations of parotid glands, breasts and testicles - 60% success; osteomyelitis, pleurisy and putrescence give up to 55% of cures. But in case of otitis media only 28% of successes were obtained, and in general inflammations in bone cavities are subjected to radiotherapy all the weaker.
