About outpatient lumbar puncture production

Abstract

A.V. Zaslavsky (Vener, and Derm., 1928, No. 7-8) made 100 punctures with thin Krabbe needles in an outpatient setting and received the following results: in 70% there were no complications after the puncture, in 12% - mild phenomena meningism l in 16% is severe, while the usual method of puncture with simple needles followed by a daily stay in bed does not give complications in 55%, in 16% - mild and in 29% - severe symptoms of meningism.

А. В. Заславский (Венер, и Дерм., 1928 г. № 7—8) сделал 100 пункций тонкими иглами Krabbe в амбулаторной обстановке и получил следующие результаты: в 70% после пункции не было никаких осложнений, в 12%—легкие явления менингизма л в 16%—тяжелые, в то время, как обычный способ пункции простыми иглами с последующим суточным пребыванием в постели не дает осложнений в 55%, в 16%—легкие и в 29%—тяжелые явления менингизма.
