Plague in capitalist countries

Abstract

In terms of the number of reported plague cases in 1934, the following places are particularly notable: in British India there were 5,7005 cases of plague from 1 January to 21 July and 3,695 deaths from it. Next in line is the Netherlands, where 9913 cases and 9898 deaths were recorded between the beginning of the year and 21 April. Finally, until 30 July, there were 1679 cases and 1672 deaths on Madagascar.

По количеству зарегистрированных случаев чумы в 1934 г. особенно выделяются следующие места: в Британской Индии с 1 января по 21 июля быль 57005 случаев заболевания чумой и 38695 случаев смерти от нее. Следующее место занимают Нидерландские острова, где с начала года по 21 апреля зарегистрировано 9913 случаев заболевания и 9898 случаев смерти. Наконец до 30 июля на острове Мадагаскаре отмечено 1679 случаев заболевания и 1672 случая смерти.
