The changes of organism functions of adapted nature as well as disturbance in feverish reaction are extended to the lymphatic system — its resorptional, transport and bar- rier-and-filtration functions. The lymphatic system is involved in maintaining homeostasis in fever, freeing the internal medium of the organism from an excess of enzymes, biologically active substances, metabolic products, toxins and supplementing the lymphocyte supplies constantly. The stimulation of flow of lymph is one way of the recovery of disordered homeostasis indices and improvement of metabolic processes in intercellular spaces.
