Abstract
According to I. K. Lukyanov, the percentage of trachoma patients in the population of the Chuvash region ranges from 70 (in Batyrevsky uyezd) to 23 (in Yadrinsky uyezd).

По данным И. К. Лукьянова процент больных трахомой в населении Чувашской обл. колеблется от 70 (в Батыревском у.) до 23 (в Ядринском у.). Хуже всего то, что процент этот с каждым годом все ростет, причем увеличение равняется 1% в год.
