Abstract
According to Jacquet's statistics dating back to 1912, 70% of patients with polyps in the nasopharynx turned out to be sick with syphilis.

По статистике Жаке, относящейся к 1912 г., 70% больных с полипами в носоглотке оказались больными сифилисом. Часть синуситов возникает на почве сифилиса. В возникновении озены сифилис может также играть некоторую роль.
