A new sign of sciatic neuralgia. M. Grünsfeld and S. Wassermann (Deut. Ztschr. f. Nervenheilk., Bd. 98, No. 4/6)

Abstract

The authors point out the frequent painfulness of the Achilles tendon of the diseased leg when pressing or pinching it in this disease. This seizure depends on the lesion of the sciatic nerve stem fibers and can therefore be used to distinguish sciatic nairalgia from lumbago and other diseases.

В качестве такового М. Grünsfeld и S. Wassermann указывают на часто встречающуюся ври этом заболевании болезненность ахиллова сухожилия больной ноги при давлении или щипании его. Зависит этот припадок от поражения стволовых волокон седалищного нерва и потому может служить для отличия седалищной найральгии от lumbago и т. п. заболеваний.
