Psychogenic diseases in urology

Abstract

Lezhnev (Urology, vol. V, issue IV, 1928) emphasizes the enormous role of psychogenic trauma among urological patients (most of whom are neurotic). Attention is drawn to the fact that often the cause of such an injury is the doctor himself, who is careless in his treatment of the patient (“iatrogenic” diseases). "Your urine is like slop", "You need to cauterize the seminal tubercle", "I don't like your urethra" - the terms used by the modern urologist and which leave an indelible mark on the patient's painful psychotherapy and extreme caution in the doctor's behavior.

Лежнев (Урология, т. V,. вып. IV, 1928) подчеркивает громадную роль психогенной травмы среди урологических больных (большинство которых является невротиками). Обращает па себя внимание тот факт, что часто причиной такой травмы является сам врач, неосторожный в своем обращении с больным („ятрогенные“ заболевания). „Моча у вас, как помои“, „Надо прижечь семенной бугорок“, „Не нравится мне ваша уретра"— термины, которыми щеголяет современный уролог и которые оставляют неизгладимый след в болезненной психике пациента. Рекомендуется психотерапия и сугубая осторожность в поведении врача.
