Subcutaneous injections of Ringer-Loske's solution in the mentally ill. Steel (Brit. med. journ., No. 3494)

Abstract

The author found that the general condition of the mentally ill improved considerably if they were given regular subcutaneous infusions of 1 liter of Ringer-Locke's solution two times a week. He observed particularly good results from injections for progressive paralysis and dementia senilis.

Steel нашел, что общее состояние душевнобольных значительно улучшается, если производить им регулярно по 2 раза в неделю подкожные вливания раствора Ringer - Lоcke’a в количестве 1 литра. Особенно хорошие результаты он наблюдал от вливаний при прогрессивном параличе и dementia senilis.
