Combined treatment of surgical tbc in spas. Kozlowski (Orth. and Traum., 1928, p. 5-6)

Abstract

In the treatment of bone tbc Kozlowski recommends a combination of surgical treatment and spa treatment. The treatment begins with a double osteotomy or neurotomy according to Molotkov, and the resulting disruption of blood circulation and bone innervation is a biological stimulus to the tbc focus, leading first to rarification of the short end of the bone, and then to increased ossification and sclerosing of the latter.

При лечении костного tbc Козловский рекомендует комбинацию оперативного лечения с курортным. Начинается лечение операцией— двойной остеотомией или невротомией по Молоткову, причем получающееся нарушение кровообращения и иннервации кости является биологическим раздражителем tbc очага, ведущим сначала к рарификации короткого конца кости, а затем к усилению оссификации и склерозированию последней.
