Австралия во внешней и оборонной политике США на современном этапе

Аннотация

В статье представлен анализ военно-политических отношений США и Австралии на современном этапе. Рассмотрены ключевые доктринальные документы, откуда становится понятно, что для усиления стратегических позиций двух стран, требуется модернизация двустороннего альянса. Рассматриваются результаты сотрудничества во внешней политике и обороне, которые свидетельствуют об эволюции американо-австралийских отношений. Особое внимание уделяется АУКУС – флагманскому проекту Индо-Тихоокеанской политики администрации Дж. Байдена. Автор приходит к выводу о новой центральной роли Австралии в системе интегрированного сдерживания Китая и в архитектуре безопасности ИТР в целом.
