Most authors note the most frequent localization of ependymomas in the IV ventricle, its cavity or lateral eversions. The time of development of ependymomas varies from 6 months to 11 years. At the initial stage, the disease is asymptomatic for a long time; by the time the first clinical signs appear, the tumor, as a rule, reaches a considerable size, filling the IV ventricular cavity in all cases.</p>Kazan Medical archiveКазанский медицинский архив
