It is also necessary to take care of a good ventilation of the lungs after each anesthesia. We should not forget about the possibility of late asphyxia. Those who have not recovered from anesthesia should be in a horizontal position, but thereafter an elevated position is desirable for better expectoration. The operated organ should be laid to rest.
