The statistically appreciable distinction of the quantity of the fractures of ribs by front and back surfaces in a driver and passenger is proved using the Student’s criterion providing the importance for determining the location of persons in a car during trauma inside it.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Изучению повреждений грудной клетки, в частности переломов ребер, судебные медики уделяют большое внимание. Это связано, с одной стороны, с тем, что морфология переломов ребер обладает значительной информативностью для установления условий травмы, с другой — зависимостью морфологических особенностей переломов от многих факторов (характера травмирующего предмета, направления воздействия, формы грудной клетки, возраста и др.).</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Kazan Medical archive</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Казанский медицинский архив</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Бачу Г.С.
