The main place in the process of blood movement from the point of view of this theory (Landois) is given to the pulsatory activity of the heart. The latter is the central engine, while the vessels help the heart in the movement of blood, since they facilitate its work with their elasticity. But the vessels themselves do not have a living, motor, active force and cannot give such a blood flow.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Господствующее учение гэмодинамики сводится к тому, как это формулировал Henle, что „сердце только двигает кровь, а сосуды ее распределяют“. Главное место в процессе передвижения крови с точки зрения этой теории (Landois) отводится пульсаторной деятельности сердца. Последнее является центральным двигателем, сосуды же постольку помогают сердцу в передвижении крови, поскольку они своею эластичностью облегчают его работу.
