The functional concept is insufficiency, which, along with the clinical and anatomical characteristics of the process, has become an organic part of the diagnosis in the field of circulatory diseases, only in the last two to three decades has it begun to enter clinical use, in the diagnosis of respiratory diseases. This was largely facilitated by new laboratory (blood gas research) and instrumental methods (spirometry, spirography, pneumotachometry, etc.). On the basis of the physiological teachings of I.P. Pavlov, our ideas about the regulatory role of the nervous system in relation to the respiratory apparatus, in particular in pathological conditions, are becoming more and more obvious and specific.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>За последние десятилетия успехи в области изучения нормальной и патологической физиологии дыхания оказали благотворное влияние на развитие диагностики болезней органов дыхания, и в особенности функциональной диагностики. Функциональное понятие— недостаточность, сравнительно давно уже ставшее, наряду с клинико-анатомической характеристикой процесса, органической частью диагноза в области болезней органов кровообращения, только в последние два — три десятилетия начинает входить в клинический обиход, в диагностику болезней органов дыхания. Этому в значительной степени способствовали новые лабораторные (исследования газов крови), а также инструментальные методы (спирометрия, спирография, пневмотахометрия и пр.). На основе физиологического учения И. П. Павлова, становятся все более очевидными и конкретными наши представления о регулирующей роли нервной системы в отношении дыхательного аппарата, в частности и в патологических условиях.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Kazan Medical archive</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Казанский медицинский архив</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list/></back></article>
