The study was performed using data obtained from 2021 to 2024 and included in the following databases: “Physical development of children, adolescents, and youth of the Russian Federation in 2021–2023,” “Anthropometric indicators of students aged 7–18 years living in various regions of the Russian Federation,” and “Physical development of children and adolescents aged 7–17 years depending on socio economic factors.” Results were described using the sample mean (M), standard error of the mean (m), and standard deviation (σ). Statistical significance of differences was assessed using Student’s t test (p &lt; 0.05).</p> <p><bold>Results: </bold>Seventeen regions of the Russian Federation were randomly selected; the total sample size was 29,351 individuals. In male adolescents aged 17–18 years, anthropometric indicators continued to increase: a significant increase in mean body length of 1.29 cm (p = 0.027) and a significant increase in mean body weight of 1.86 kg (p = 0.025) were found. In contrast, no significant differences in mean body length or body weight were found in female adolescents, which may indicate that the main growth processes are completed by age 17. A high proportion of regions of the Russian Federation (58.8%) showed significant differences in mean body length in male adolescents, indicating preserved variability in the timing of growth completion and reflecting the existence of “regional scenarios” of physical development.</p> <p><bold>Conclusion: </bold>The results demonstrate persistent heterogeneity in growth processes among male and female adolescents aged 17–18 years across different regions of the Russian Federation.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование</bold>.<bold> </bold>Динамика ростовых показателей в период перехода от школьного обучения к обучению в организациях высшего образования у юношей и девушек в возрасте 17–18 лет остаётся недостаточно изученной.</p> <p><bold>Цель исследования</bold>.<bold> </bold>Изучить физическое развитие обучающихся в период завершения ростовых процессов в возрастном интервале 17–18 лет.</p> <p><bold>Методы</bold>.<bold> </bold>Проведён анализ показателей физического развития (длина и масса тела) юношей и девушек 17–18 лет, проживающих в различных субъектах Российской Федерации. Исследование выполнено на основании данных, полученных в период 2021–2024 гг. и включённых в базы данных: «Физическое развитие детей, подростков и молодёжи Российской Федерации в 2021–2023 годах», «Антропометрические показатели обучающихся 7–18 лет, проживающих в различных регионах Российской Федерации», «Физическое развитие детей и подростков 7–17 лет в зависимости от социально-экономических факторов». Описание результатов проводили с использованием выборочного среднего (М), стандартной ошибки среднего (m) и стандартного отклонения (σ). Статистическую значимость различий оценивали с помощью t-критерия Стьюдента (<italic>p</italic> &lt;0,05).</p> <p><bold>Результаты</bold>. Случайным образом отобраны 17 субъектов Российской Федерации; общий объём выборки составил 29 351 человек. Установлено, что у юношей в возрасте 17–18 лет сохраняется увеличение антропометрических показателей: выявлено статистически значимое (<italic>p</italic>=0,027) увеличение средней длины тела на 1,29 см и статистически значимое (<italic>p</italic>=0,025) увеличение средней массы тела на 1,86 кг. В то же время у девушек статистически значимых различий средних значений длины и массы тела не выявлено, что может свидетельствовать о завершении основных ростовых процессов к 17 годам. Отмечена высокая доля субъектов Российской Федерации (58,8%), в которых выявлены статистически значимые различия средних значений длины тела у юношей, что свидетельствует о сохранении вариабельности сроков завершения ростовых процессов и отражает наличие «региональных сценариев» физического развития.</p> <p><bold>Заключение</bold>.
