By its efficiency these nutrient mediums compare well with the Bordet-Gengou medium and can be recommended for eduction of pertussis pathogene.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Несмотря на массовую иммунизацию детей АКДС-вакциной, заболеваемость коклюшем растет. Так, в 1996 и 1997 гг. заболеваемость по Российской Федерации составляла соответственно 9,4 и 18,4, а по Республике Татарстан — 5,4 и 15,6 на 100 тыс. населения. Сохраняются периодические и сезонные подъемы заболеваемости не только среди непривитых детей, но и среди привитых.
