B., 42 years old, was admitted to the surgical department in serious condition with paralysis of the lower extremities, disorder of the pelvic organs, with complaints of general weakness and pain in the lumbar region. With a diagnosis of tuberculous spondylitis, the patient was transferred to the hospital of the tuberculosis dispensary. The diagnosis of phthisiatricians was rejected, and the patient was again referred to the surgical department. During a three-month follow-up with the participation of radiologists, she was diagnosed with myelomatosis with lesions of the thoracic spine.
