The largest representative of scientific medical thought, Honored Scientist, Professor Roman Albertovich Luria was widely known not only among doctors and scientists of the Soviet Union, but also abroad. Only in the post-October period did he get the opportunity to widely develop his creative abilities. Throughout his clinical career, Roman Albertovich has invariably been a conductor of advanced ideas in Soviet medical science and medical practice. He easily accepted the ideas of functional pathology that were close to him in spirit, the ideas of nervousism put forward in their time by I.M.Sechenov, S.P.Botkin, I.P. Pavlov. Roman Albertovich constantly developed these ideas in front of his students, they run like a red thread in all of his lectures, speeches and printed works. The evolution of medical knowledge, which led to the synthesis of somatic and mental categories and established in science and practice the idea of a person as a single psycho-physical whole, inextricably linked with the environment, found its expression in his clinical concepts.
Kazan Medical archiveКазанский медицинский архив
