As the authors write in the preface, the impetus for another monograph on myocardial infarction came from new developments in patient management and related advances. The authors consider clinic and therapy of the fate-deciding acute period of myocardial infarction not in general, but in the conditions of the patient in the intensive care ward, with continuous registration of the process dynamics, implementation of resuscitation measures, flexible and targeted therapy.
Как пишут авторы в предисловии, побуждением к выпуску еще одной монографии, посвященной инфаркту миокарда, послужило новое в организации лечения больных и связанные с этим достижения. Авторы рассматривают клинику и терапию решающего судьбу больного острого периода инфаркта миокарда не вообще, а в условиях нахождения больного в палате интенсивного наблюдения и лечения, с непрерывной регистрацией динамики процесса, реализацией реанимационных мероприятий, гибкой и целенаправленной терапии.
