Отделение чувствующих участков мозга от ассоциационных является одной из важнейших заслуг Flechsіg'а, так же как и Fasernanatomie des Riickenmarks. Последней книгой Flechsig’a была „Меіпе myelogenetische Hirnlehre", вышедшая в 1927 г.
