The speaker notes the enormous significance of Pavlov's works in science and dwells especially on the significance of his theory of conditioned reflexes for solving the question of the essence of instincts. The speaker ends his speech with a wish of health to the dear hero of the day. At the suggestion of the chairman prof. A. V. Favorsky decided to send a greeting telegram to the hero of the day.
