Kreidl, using the third eyelid of the cat's eye (membrana nictitans) as an object in determining the latency period for the cervical sympathetic nerve, at the beginning of their studies, they recorded its contraction according to the Lewandowski method , but then they found this registration method inconvenient and proposed their own registration method as the most accurate and convenient, which consists in the fact that the electromagnetic marker of irritation ceases to function at the moment of the eyelid contraction due to the automatic opening of the current. When using this method, the latent period for the cervical sympathetic nerve was set by them in the range from 0.6 to 0.8 seconds.</p>Kazan Medical archiveКазанский медицинский архив
