Everyone knows the life-giving effect of the sun's rays on the growing body of a child. It is based mainly on the action of ultraviolet rays, which are rich in the solar spectrum. Due to climatic conditions, the use of natural sunlight is limited, especially in our latitudes, and for a long time there have been attempts to find a light source that would have a photo-chemical effect. close to the sun. These turned out to be a Bach mercury-quartz lamp and a carbon-arc lantern, rich in blue, violet and ultraviolet rays.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Лечение искусственным светом за последнее время получило широкое применение в профилактике и терапии многих детских заболеваний. Всем известно живительное действие солнечных лучей на растущий организм ребенка. Оно основано, главным образом, на действии ультрафиолетовых лучей, которыми богат солнечный спектр. В силу климатических условий пользование естественным солнечным светом ограничено, особенно в наших широтах, и издавна делались попытки найти источник света, который бы по своему фото-химическому действию был. близок к солнцу.
